E-locks are a new form of gate automation that utilise electronic signals to open and close a gate or door. A keycard or token would be used as a key which would send a signal to the lock to open or close the door. The system can be calibrated to suit the customers preferences, for example, a school with special needs might request for the doors to automatically lock after closure.
